Took get this post season party off to a rotten start, let's call on the corpulent one, Mr. Rotten himself Ronnie Rott!

I won most pus-filled player three years in a row!

Thank you Crypt! You are undoubtedly the most professional sack of bones I know both professionally and personally! All right let's dispense with the flattery and get to the action that you are all craving! It's the best time of the season the post season! We had four big matches in the first round of the Nuffle Challenge Series.

We have season one teams Pax Romana, Sticks and Stones, #Swole, Goth Bondage Party and season one champion Varangian Guard, as well as new teams Slingers, Dumpster Diving Lizards and Brittany Privateers 2. Let's take a look at the matches!

In our first match of the Nuffle Challenge Series we have Goth Bondage Party vs Sticks and Stones in a match up featuring elf-on-elf violence! Goth Bondage Party is making their second appearance in the NCS, after a crushing loss last season in overtime to #Swole. Sticks and Stones on the other hand have gone from bottom of the league in season one to earning a wild card shot in season 2! Though they gave it their best Sticks and Stones could not contend with the absolute terrors on goth bondage party. Including a strength five player as well as an agility five witch elf. Losing to Goth Bondage Party 0 to 3.

Next up we have the dominant denizens of the trash-heap The Dumpster Diving Lizards taking on season one champion Norse squad Varangian Guard. The Lizards come into the match on top of their conference, having thoroughly dominated the competition. Varangian Guard despite being season 1 champions had to earn their spot in the NCS via wild card, after failing to win the division. In another one sided first round match up, Dumpster Diving Lizards brought the pain, removing most of Varangian Guard's players from the pitch en-route to winning 3 to 0 and knocking the Season 1 champions out of the Nuffle Challenge Series!

No this is not a shot for bloodiest game of the week, this is to illustrate how many players Varangian Guard was playing without.

Heading over across the pond we have a match up with two teams from NBP Europa! Those dirty Skaven Brittany Privateers 2 and those empirical reptiles Pax Romana! The Privateers completely thrashed their competition this season, clinching their division faster than even Goth Bondage Party. Pax Romana never gave up their Nuffle Challenge Series hopes however earning a wild-card to make their lizard dreams come true! The luck finally ran out for the Brittany Privateers 2 as they run into a determined Lizard-man squad. The usually vibrant offense was completely shutdown, while Pax Romana used superior numbers and an aggressive foul game to take the match 2 to 0.

This was not the first skink to commit a foul in the game. He was also not the first to be ejected.

In our last first round NCS match up we have season one runner up #Swole looking to get back to the championship game and get over the finish line, matching up with Undead juggernauts Slingers with their two strength six mummies. In our most competive NCS match of week one, #Swole brought it to Slingers scoring the first touchdown and knocking out some zombies. The Second half was all Slingers though as they were able to tie it up and get a lot of key #Swole players off the pitch leading to an overtime showdown where Slingers took the day winning 2 to 1.

That is one ugly ghoul scoring one pretty touchdown.

We started with eight and now we are down to the final four! Next week's match ups will see Goth Bondage Party take on Pax Romana and Dumpster Diving Lizards take on Slingers! The winners of those matches will face off in the Nuffle Challenge Series League Championship match!

The Nuffle Challenge Series isn't our only post season action of course! This week also saw the completion of the first ever Nuffle Be Praised MuRyder Cup! For those who are unaware the concept is simple. Six teams, three north American, three European face off in a series of three bowl games. The side that wins the series 2 out of 3 will take control of the Nuffle Be Praised MuRyder Cup and gain bragging rights for the whole season leading up to Season 3.

Our First match in the Cup featured Club 27 representing NBP Pro taking on Tree Huggers Affiliated from Europa. In a spirited back and forth match NBP Europa fired the first shots in the challenge with Tree Huggers Affiliated winning 2 to 1.

In the second match of the MuRyder Cup Rolling Bones came in representing NBP Pro against NBP Europa's Bootsers. In the clash of the undead and the lizards, Rolling Bones won the match 2 to 1 tieing the series even at 1 to 1.

In the deciding match of the first ever MuRyder Cup NBP Pro's Pine Crags Pronghorn took on NBP Europa's Dungeon and Drag Queens. Truly a game that unfolded in two halves. The First half started with a a crazy pitch invasion and ended with a score for Dungeon and Drag Queens. The Second half was all Pine Crags Pronghorn as they scored two touchdowns to pull a head and win 2 to 1 and win the MuRyder Cup fro NBP PRO! Those Europa coaches now have to endure a whole season of trash talking from the superior side!

Now before I send it back to Crypt we are ready to announce the first round match ups of the Mediocre Tournament! Remember the Mediocre Tournament featured all the teams not good enough for the NCS or the MuRyder Cup. Here are the first round match ups!

Lastly before we move on to the players of the week we have a quick update on the Race Roulette Ruckus Competition. The competition has advanced to the semi finals. In our first match up Tombstone Terrors will take on Necromancies Folly in a classic battle of undead vs necro. Our other match up will see Crunch a' Munch take on Phenominal Pain!!!!!!!! Lizard-man vs Chaos. The winners of those matches will face off in the Race Roulette Ruckus Final!

That does it for me let's head back over to Crypt!

Wow that was a super-sized recap of the week's events! It's only fitting that we go from that to a streamlined version of our players of the week. Let's head over to John Maddening!

Thanks Crypt! John Maddening here folks, as Crypt said since we have fewer match ups this week we are only going to have two players of the week! Our first player will be the player of the week for the playoffs. Our other player of the week will be for the MuRyder Cup! We will then choose between them for Player of the League!

First up for player of the playoffs the award goes to Dumpster Diving Lizards Gristle McThornBody with a whopping 14 points, scoring an MVP and three touchdowns in their win over Varangian Guard!

Next up for the MuRyder cup player of the week the award goes to Rolling Bone's Steven Tyler with 8 points from scoring a touchdown and winning the MVP.

Now we give out the award for player of the league! The award of course goes to the intrepid skink Gristle McThornBody!
